PlanetRecover
At Inkplanet we have a procedure for head recovery called PlanetRecover.
With this system we subject the printhead to various recovery processes and physically check that
the nozzles are no longer clogged/defective.
The usual procedure is as follows:
- You send us by your own means your heads to be recovered.
- It is advisable to send us a print test before sending the head, so that in many cases we can find out if the head has an electrical fault, in which case there is no point in recovering it.
- We put them through various recovery processes and physically check that the nozzles are no longer clogged/defective.
- Printheads are delicate, and the recovery rate is variable, depending on how long they have been clogged, the type of ink used and whether previous attempts have been made to clean them using unsuitable methods.
- It can happen that a completely clean printhead does not print well. This may be due to other factors that affect the print quality, such as wear of the piezoelectric crystals, the condition of the coating on the nozzles, defective electronic components, etc.
- It may happen that your printhead that is printing, albeit poorly, in the recovery process stops printing completely and becomes unusable.
- It is important to insist that we only recover clogged heads or heads with deflected nozzles. Under no circumstances can we repair an electrical head failure. If you send us the head to recover and it has an electrical fault, we cannot detect it here, therefore, we will submit it to the process and in case of physical recovery of the nozzles, the tariff will be applied equally.
- If the heads have been recovered, the tariff will be applied before leaving our facilities and they will be sent to you carriage paid.
- If the heads have not been recovered, you decide what to do with them, whether we dispose of them or you send them to us for collection.
